I've just tried to create a new identifier for my next release (and yes, I've checked that it doen'st exist yet), but I get an error message saying "Desired identifier not available. Please try another identifier".

Anyone know what's wrong?

Hey all,

There's a sitewide upload problem which the engineers are looking at as we speak. I will post again when it is fixed.

I don't know if it's related, but the problem seems to have happened at the same time.

I've checked out Growingupccmh20070506 successfully, and it told me to connect to host ia350610.us.archive.org.
However when I try to ftp to this host, the connection closes immediately, it doesn't even prompt for the username. I randomly picked host ia350611 instead and the connection was successful, so I don't think it's anything wrong at my end.
